Funding the Dream

Empowering Photography, Access, & Growth

When you set a goal it's important to know how you need to get there, or at least have a vague inkling.

To get to my end goal I need help getting back to a baseline where growth is possible.

Why am I fundraising instead of working?

Well, I am doing both. I am actively working and need some help closing the gap from last year's losses.

It has been a year since I was able to move into the Studio on Lawrence and since then I have fallen ill, healed up, got back at it, had some wins, and faced many losses.

I can honestly say, even though I feel like a living example of Einstein's definition of insanity I still don't want to give up!

Business growth is not easy without funding and today I am reaching out in hopes you can help spread the word or help directly with a business fundraiser for my Photography Studio.

So...

What's the story Morning Glory?

Many of you know about the chronic and recurring health issues that have plagued my stomach and digestive system causing multiple hospitalizations and canceled gigs. And if you don't know about it all there was your short and sweet synopsis. In all my health dealings I have never given up on wanting to pursue my true path and career. Being sick and in and out of the hospital have hindered my business growth and I am hoping everyone that this reaches will consider helping lift me up to the success I deserve.

THE GOAL

I have set a goal of 25k to help adequately support fruitful growth this year in my business. If you break it down, I only need 1,000 amazing souls to donate $25 to reach this goal.

WHY GIVE ANYTHING AT ALL?

The funds from this will help me transition to a space with handicap access making my services available to those who might not be able to climb the stairs at the current studio. The donations will help me purchase upgrades to vital equipment giving me more range and professionalism.

Donations will also be used to help me cover current studio expenses. I want to secure an amount that should cover a year's worth of studio expenses like rent, utilities, marketing, and vital memberships in the local Chamber of Commerce and other networking groups. After this last year of relapsing health issues, I know that I need this in case I am unable to work for any period. This coverage of basic business expenses will also create that baseline needed for growth.

I leave you with this...

This donation you make today goes beyond funding; it's a testament to your belief in the power of the arts, your support of small businesses, and your want to create conversation and action around the importance of accessibility in art spaces.

Donate through the GoFundMe page linked. If you can't donate sharing with someone who might be able to is just as helpful.

All my love and gratitude,

Tristine.
